Welcome to Norfolk Community Health and Care Sure Start Children’s Centres

Homepage

Sure Start Children’s Centres support children and babies of all abilities, their parents / families, and parents-to-be. Our aim is to help babies and young children to develop in the best way they can - physically, socially and in their early learning too - so that they can flourish at home and when they go to school. We do this by bringing together health and family support services, childcare and early education, working with and for families with children under 5 years-old.

On the pages of this website you will find lots of information about the support we provide to families with babies and young children.

Our programme of activities includes sessions with something for everyone. Groups meet in relaxed and nurturing settings, where you can enjoy time with your child while meeting other parents and making new friends.

Our teams include a variety of professionals who provide joined up care for your family. When specialist guidance is needed, you may be supported by our experts, or we can help you to access other services.

We work in people’s homes and in the community from our Children’s Centres around the county at Bowthorpe, West Earlham and Costessey; Cromer, Mundesley and North Walsham; North Lynn, Gaywood North Bank and the Woottons; and Thetford . Visit the pages of your local Children’s Centre to find more information including a calendar of available activities and an online form to register your interest with the Children’s Centre. For descriptions of the activities available across our Centres, see our Activities page.

If you have any questions or comments about the services offered by our Children’s Centres, please contact your local Centre in person, by phone or email, or using our online contact form
