Is there an upper age limit for Apprenticeships?

No. Whether you are just leaving school, seeking to start a new career or are moving into a new role with your existing employer that requires new skills, all you need to be an Apprentice is a resident in England, above the age of 16 and currently not taking part in full-time education.

Where will I be based?

We are based in various locations across Norfolk including: Norwich, Kings Lynn, Wymondham, Cromer, North Walsham, Kelling, Dereham and Swaffham.

Where can I find NCH&C Apprenticeship vacancies?

Apprenticeship vacancies will be posted on www.jobs.nhs.uk. Some Apprenticeship vacancies will also be posted on www.apprenticeships.org.uk and advertised by Norwich for Jobs.

How long will my Apprenticeship last?

Generally Level 2 Apprenticeships last 12 months and Level 3 Apprenticeships last 18 months.

What are NCH&C’s expectations of Apprentices?

At NCH&C we look for commitment from our Apprentices which includes completing their qualifications and demonstrating our core values and behaviours.

What can I expect from NCH&C?

A dedicated team provide one-to-one support and coaching to increase the likelihood of gaining a permanent role.

Will I get a permanent job at the end of my Apprenticeship?

Apprentices can apply for permanent roles towards the end of their Apprenticeship and a dedicated team will support Apprentices with their applications and interview preparation. Nearly 60% of our Apprentices attain a permanent role with us.
