Ways to donate
The foundation upon which the charity's vital work is made possible is the personal donations, legacies, grants, and corporate funding we receive on behalf of our beneficiaries.
If you have any specific questions about your donation please do not hesitate to contact Gary Wiltshire, Fundraising Manager, by calling 01603 272572 or e-mailing [email protected]

Cheque
To donate by cheque, please make your cheque out to NCH&C Charitable Fund and send it to:
Gary Wiltshire
Norfolk Community Health and Care NHS Trust Charitable Fund
Room G.28, Woodlands House
Norwich Community Hospital
Bowthorpe Road

If you wish to support a particular hospital, nursing team or service, please tell us about this in a note included with your donation.

Direct debit / Standing Order
You can set up a direct debit or standing order if you wish to make a regular donation. This can be monthly, quarterly or annually and you can specify when you want the amount to be taken from your bank account.

Online donations
We manage our online donations through Virgin Money Giving. The website address is https://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/giving/make-a-donation/. Then ‘Search’ for Norfolk Community Health & Care NHS Trust and we should be at the top of the ‘Charities’ list.

Payroll giving
The payroll giving scheme allows us to receive your donations straight from your salary before tax has been deducted.

Fundraising
There are lots of ways you can fundraise, whether it’s planning a challenge, organising or entering a sponsored event, or hosting a pub quiz.
You can make it easy for friends and family to donate online, by setting up an online donation page at Virgin Money Giving: www.virginmoneygiving.com.

Gift Aid
Gift Aid allows us to reclaim the tax that you have already paid on your donations. This means that, if you are aUKtax payer, your donation can increase by 25% – at no extra cost to you. For every £1 you give, we can reclaim 25p.

Leaving a legacy?
Leaving a gift in your will to our charitable fund is a wonderful way for your generosity to last beyond your own lifetime. This could either be a fixed amount or could be part of the residue of an estate.
If you would like to do this, please contact the Charitable Funds Accountant when making or amending your will. Our Trust is used to working with solicitors around bequests to ensure that the donor’s wishes are carried out.

Making a gift in memory
Charitable Gifts instead of Flowers: At the time of a funeral, many people prefer to ask relatives and friends to make a donation to a charitable cause in place of flowers.
Charitable Gifts in Memory: If the deceased was treated at one of our community hospitals or services, you might like to consider making a charitable gift to that Department or Ward.

Donating to a specific hospital, department or service
Charitable donors can specify to support our General Charitable Fund or a particular hospital or department which has a special relevance to their own experience or to that of friends or relatives.
