Adult Epilepsy Specialist Nurse Team

Overview

We see patients from the age of 16.

Work closely with the children Epilepsy Specialist Nurse team for patients to transition over to the adult service.

Offer help, support and information for patients with epilepsy, families, carers and friends.

We provide each patient with a personal care plan on how to manage their seizures.

Specialist epilepsy advice provided to health and social care teams.

Provide a link between the Hospital, GPs and Community teams.

Provide support and advice to colleges, university and employers.

Signpost to appropriate services for welfare and accessibility.
