Priorities and performance

Priorities and performance

The Board has agreed three interconnected and mutually dependent strategic priorities to achieve our Trust’s vision. These relate to Our Quality; Our People and Our Future.

From our strategic objectives flow our annual priorities. These were informed by staff engagement sessions, including our shadow Council of Governors.

The Annual Priorities for 2014/15 are:

Improving Quality through

•    Delivering our Quality Goals
•    Making Integration a reality

Enabling Our People through

•    Realising the benefits of our Transformation Programme
•    Improving the health and wellbeing of staff
•    Embedding the values and behaviours that promote high quality care and a healthy organisation

Securing our future through

•    Meeting our financial targets and delivering our Cost Improvement Programme
•    Winning available tenders
•    Successfully mobilising new services, including through the Better Care fund

Safe Staffing Levels

Every month we publish information about staffing levels on our inpatient and respite units, including the percentage of shifts meeting their agreed staffing levels.

Board Papers

The monthly Integrated Performance Report and Quality and Risk Report provide more regular updates to the Board on the delivery of a number of these priorities.

The Trust also produces an Annual Report and a Quality Account which provide a summary of performance at the end of each financial year.

Providing integrated services

We always strive to deliver services which are closely joined up with those provided by our partners. This short film explains how our Care Coordinators bring together a range of services, while this film shows what a difference this approach makes to patients.
